AKA Patchwork Dragon. This is the dragon I made to take pictures of to go with the pattern, since I'm planning to sell it.
Consolation Dragon:

I'm rather fond of the riot of Pinkie Pie colors; I would have liked to use a more contrasting yarn for the sewing parts than pastel green, but by the time I realized that gray would've worked admirably the head was already done, and like hell was I going to take apart those finished parts only to re-stitch them, and even if I sewed the gray over the green some'd show through and I couldn't just cut it out because some'd get stuck, and and and.... Anyway, I stuck to green, which looks more cheerful, even if it can be a little more difficult to pick out visually.
The name Consolation Dragon comes from a friend mishearing me say "Constellation Dragon", and now we have an in-joke going where he says conciliatory things in a goofy voice, pretending to be the dragon. I kinda think it should be an internet meme, but rather doubt it would catch on.
